Data, purposes and legal basis

When you email us, we process the contact details and content you provide to answer your enquiry and manage the professional relationship. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling these communications (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) or, if you request a quotation or service, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).

The server may also record technical access data, such as your IP address, the date and browser, to protect the website and resolve incidents, based on our legitimate interest in security. Providing data by email is voluntary, but we need contact details and relevant information to reply.

Retention

We keep data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or maintain the professional relationship. We then retain it only for the periods required by applicable law or necessary to address potential liabilities. Technical logs are kept for as long as necessary for security and incident management.

Recipients and transfers

Service providers needed to deliver these services may access the data: SiteGround for hosting and email, and Google/Gmail for managing email. We may also disclose data when legally required.
